Opt-in/Opt-out

Makima is the main antagonist of Chainsaw Man's first saga, and as a result, her character comes with some standing content warnings. These include:

- Grooming and abuse, including grooming of a minor
- Gaslighting
- Abuse of positions of authority
- Non-consensual mind control and psychological manipulation
- Victim-blaming for all of the above
- Violence

I will not reference any of the above in threads without advance notice. If you would like to opt-out of any of those topics, or opt-out of tagging Makima entirely, please let me know by commenting to this post.

Makima's powers are entirely opt-in. In Well, Makima will not know she has these abilities and will not know how to use them. Please do not feel pressured to opt-in to Makima's powers -- I am more interested in the relationships she builds when not relying on these control-related abilities. Comment below to opt into any of the following (and please specify which powers you're opting into). You can also comment below to opt out of all powers. Makima's abilities are:

- Mind control
- Devil contracts
- Violent battle techniques, including remotely manipulating the limbs of another and causing others to explode
